Black Friday, the biggest shopping weekend of the year, is very nearly here and you can expect to get a good deal on a new Mac between November 29 and December 2, 2024. Whether you’re looking for an iMac, Mac mini, or a Mac Studio, we’ll help you find the best price.

Best Mac deals for Black Friday 2025: Our advice

Apple just updated the Mac mini and iMac with M4 chips, which usually means you can get a good price on an older model. However, this year it is important to know that Apple also doubled the RAM on the base models from 8GB to 16GB. That’s essentially a $200 price cut since prices stayed the same in the U.S. and actually dropped in the U.K. As a result, the older generation of iMac and Mac mini would have to be considerably reduced in price to compete with the value in the newer models.

You’ll see how much RAM (aka unified memory) is on offer for the deals below, so you know exactly what you are getting. We also include the price Apple sells Macs for and the price it used to sell them for in the case of discontinued models.

Apple’s Black Friday Shopping Event

Apple doesn’t discount Macs for Black Friday. Rather, it gives away cards with purchases on Black Friday. We’ll be updating this page as the discounts come in and as Apple announces its own Black Friday 2024 sale. In 2023, the sale didn’t include the newest Macs, so it’s possible this year’s offer is limited to the MacBook Air.

However, there are plenty of resellers who do discount MacBooks and we are watching them closely so that we can spot the best deals. If we see what we think is a good deal we will share it below—and there are already some fantastic bargains to be had.

Best Mac mini deals for Black Friday 2024

What is Apple offering for Black Friday 2024?

Each year Apple holds a Black Friday four-day shopping event, but rather than offering discounts it just gives gift vouchers for certain products. In 2023 and 2022 you could get gift cards for the following amounts with the following Mac purchases made on Apple’s U.S. site or Apple’s U.K. site.

We expect a similar offer in 2024 and will update this when we have the information.
